HISTORIC PROVENANCE
The Dining Table Americana is inspired by a drawing of a table (ca. 1870–80) in the collection of The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The design, created by A. Damon et Cie (French, active ca. 1870–1900), shows an elegant table with carved trim and turned legs. The Dining Table Americana takes those elegant decorative elements and brings them to life for the modern home in a black-veneer finish.
